I have multiple screens. How do I enable Startle Display on them all?  

Connecting to multiple screens requires a HDMI matrix or analogue modulator.  Please speak with your local AV expert or we can get someone out to take a look (note there will be a charge for surveying your site and then installing the necessary equipment). 

How do I improve the image quality of the live video feed whilst running through an analogue modulator?

There are a number of reasons why your live video feed quality may be degraded.  

  1.  Your analogue modulator should be of good quality and be on a channel which doesn’t interfere with other TV or radio channels.  A good way of testing this is disconnecting and tuning the TV to each channel and seeing which looks the least noisy.  
  2.  If your TV distribution is analogue you will have introduced an HDMI to analogue convertor. These convert high definition video feeds to analogue before being introduced to the modulator.  Typically, issues occur when the transition is too large - that is, full HDMI to analogue.  Adjust the settings on your convertor to 720 max.

When I head to my mobile manager it says my unit is disconnected when it's not?

It can sometimes take 3-5 minutes for AdFrame to announce itself to our systems to enable full control.  If after this time you’re still seeing it as disconnected then reboot your Startle player by switching the power off and on with the AdFrame cables connected.  Please ensure your AdFrame unit is powered up using the mains adaptor included.  Your Startle player will also need to be online.  Check this in ‘Device Connectivity’ within your control panel here.  If its still saying disconnected call us and we can take a closer look.

How can I achieve different live feeds within my AdFrame?

It is possible to have different live feeds shown within your AdFrame although it can only be one at a time with one AdFrame unit and Startle player.  The IN1 connection of your AdFrame unit determines what is seen on screen and therefore a HDMI switch or similar before this connection could achieve the outcome desired.   AV set ups in venues can vary dramatically.
